Stefan Diaz is a restoration industry professional with nearly a decade of hands-on experience helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, smoke, and mold losses. Beginning his career in 2017 as an entry-level restoration technician, Stefan built his reputation by mastering every aspect of the business from the ground up.

Throughout his career, he advanced from technician to foreman and contents manager before taking on executive leadership roles. His ability to lead teams, build systems, and deliver exceptional customer service ultimately led him to become the head of an emergency mitigation division, where he oversaw day-to-day operations, managed personnel, recruited and trained employees, developed sales strategies, and maintained high production standards.

Over three consecutive years, Stefan helped grow annual emergency mitigation revenue from approximately $6 million to $8 million, ultimately surpassing $10 million in annual mitigation sales. These figures represent mitigation services alone and do not include reconstruction revenue. During that time, he consistently ranked as the company’s top-producing salesperson while simultaneously managing department operations and mentoring the next generation of restoration professionals.

Throughout his career, Stefan has successfully assisted with more than 5,000 residential and commercial insurance claims, specializing in water damage, fire and smoke damage, mold remediation, emergency mitigation, and contents restoration. His commitment to communication, transparency, and customer satisfaction resulted in outstanding client experiences, numerous repeat customers, referral-based business, and top-rated online reviews.

Stefan’s expertise extends beyond sales. His experience includes project management, estimating, insurance documentation, moisture mapping, mitigation strategy, team leadership, hiring and training, quality control, customer relations, and working directly with insurance carriers and adjusters to help clients navigate complex property claims.

Today, Stefan is expanding his career into public adjusting through Black Stallion, where he combines years of restoration expertise with insurance claim advocacy to represent policyholders and help ensure they receive fair settlements. His unique background gives him a comprehensive understanding of both the restoration process and the insurance claims industry, allowing him to guide clients from the initial loss through recovery with professionalism, integrity, and results.
